Why should I join?

A Ten Trusted Group is a meeting place for those who are working with the concepts and tools offered by Stephanie Merriman and Merriman Management Support.  It is also a trusted space of sharing and comradery.  A space to get to know and form relationships with peer managers facing similar challenges.   Discussing, sharing and learning together is a Ten Trusted Group.  A Ten Trusted Group is as much about self-growth as it is working and learning new concepts to implement at your co-op.

How often and when do we meet?

Your Ten Trusted group meets for a total of 6 sessions twice a month for 3 months.

What goes on in the meetings?

Each meeting is up to an hour long and is centered on a training and discussion topic dedicated for that week.  Half of the meeting is reserved for discussion of training concepts presented in MMS accountability videos – understanding and implementation. The second half is discussion, coaching and pathways for traction to action. View points and comments from all managers are welcomed and encouraged.

What are the topics we’ll cover?

The heart of a Ten Trusted Group is to become familiar and integrate the concepts presented in the MMS video library.  The 10 videos of the Manageing Effectively – Focusing on Accountability will be examined and explored – a few each week.  A special emphasis is given to working with mindsets, challenging group members to examine, explore and share their personal efforts to become aware of how their mindsets affect their manageing and life in general.

How do we meet?

Meetings are hosted on the ZOOM video networking app.  A web-cam will be needed on your computer to take full advantage of this technology.  You can also join the meeting by phone, if you prefer.  A phone number will be provided. There is no charge to the participants for the use of ZOOM. The phone number is a local number so toll charges do apply unless you call from your cell phone.

What happens between the meetings?

Each participant will have an account which is linked to their group on the Slack communication app.  Here people can communicate to each other individually or as a group between sessions.  This is a text-based app used by many corporations and teams around the world to link their people together.  Stephanie will post weekly activities that the participants can take part in and post their responses back on Slack.  Our work between sessions on Slack is a robust and rewarding part of a Ten Trusted Group.

Can I choose who’s in my group?

We do want to keep the group size to 10 and you are welcome to form your own group or bring a group of associates along with you to join as a partial block in a group.

What if I can’t make every call?

One of the strengths of this type of develomental group is the structure of the group itself.  So, we feel it’s important before you apply to make a commitment to be a part of each meeting.

When does the next session start?

We are accecting applications now.  We coordinate a start date when each new session fills up.

Will the meeting be taped?

We don’t tape the meetings. Confidentiality is an important part of Ten Trusted and we want folks to feel free to bring things forward.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

For MMS Training Members, the cost is $300 per person for the 3 month session. You can have an invoice sent to you or your co-op or pay by PayPal or credit card.

I’m not sure about this can I call and talk it over with Stephanie?

We actually hope you do.  A Ten Trusted group requires a comittment and the timing might not be right for a manager to sign up for this type of endevor.  If you are interested and still have some questions, contact Stephanie with our MMS contact form.
