New year and a new decade.
It’s kind of a fresh new feeling.
And even though change is the only constant in life, there are those basic underlying principles that seems to be steady and constant.
An underlying principle that I’ll continue to focus on this year is that no matter how much change a co-op experiences, developing ourselves as a manager is a very personal and deeply radical act.
It means noticing and challenging our status quo, our justifications, excuses, self-pity, blind spots and all the rest.
It entails vulnerability, painfulness and getting our butt kicked.
And at the same time let’s not forget this year the other side of the T-table.
Our maturing, our growth and the fact that we’re all in this together.
Here’s to us in this new year!
Our companionship is mighty as our learning continues.
