When I was talking to some co-op-ers this past week I said that I hoped they would survive the coming week. (Thanksgiving week)
Then I thought to myself, what am I bringing everyone’s attention to?
Am I just going to commiserate and focus on the hard part and the struggle of getting through it?
This is Thanksgiving.
I know it’s going to be tough but isn’t there something underneath all this work that is special and beautiful and meaningful?
Something that is worth drawing attention to?
So I had this idea.
Why not ask staff to report back on the best, coolest things that they experience this coming week.
Ask them to be harvesters of the delightful moments that will occur among all that stuff we do.
Maybe that special thank you from a customer. Maybe a cool display. Maybe a shout out for a great product.
I wanted to help them switch their focus from the slog-zone to the bright and shining.
So that’s what I did.<\/p>\n

I checked in with folks and asked them to look for their best of the best moments this coming week.
Game on!
I’ll circle back each day collecting their highlights.<\/p>\n
