We&#8217;re part manager and part leader. As managers we support our staff in making it happen at our co-ops on a day to day basis, and as leaders, we show the way forward.<br \/>\nIn times like these, the leader in us has to step forward.<br \/>\nOur staff needs us more than ever to bring clarity and calm.<br \/>\nTo be steady and measured about where best to put our attention in order to be of service to each other and our communities.<br \/>\nWhen the surges of fear and panic take hold, our assuredness and confidence in our &#8220;get-through-it-ness&#8221; is the light and leading voice most needed in these challenging times.<br \/>\nIt is a time when great cooperation will be needed in our communities.<br \/>\nThis is not a new concept for us. This is the definition of a co-op.<br \/>\nThese already existing strengths are being utilized and demonstrated co-op for co-op all across this country.<br \/>\nI know I speak for many when I say thank you. Thank you for hanging in there for what has been one heck of a week, with likely another one the way.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;re built for this, and as is often true, not by our choice but by our inherent ability we&#8217;re thrust into our finest hour of service.<br \/>\n[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each one of us wears two hats for our staff.
