\nMaybe there is a new way we could look at our task driven jobs that might bring more excitement, meaning and involvement.
\nHow about this –
\n“My job is not just to get things done. My job is to create amazing outcomes. When I check something off my list, it is because in some way it adds to an amazing shopping experience, brings delight and strengthens profitability.\u201d
\n\u201cIn other words, a task is not checked-off on my list until I know it will add value to the co-op.”

\nI think if we just look at our jobs as getting tasks done we’re really missing the boat.
\nWe need to always be raising up our gaze to see what all these tasks we’re in charge of are really for.
\nTasks are not the ends in and of themselves. They are what we do to elevate and create impact and outcomes, in every common moment of every common day.
\nThe success and viability of our co-ops in the marketplace rests on valuing our time in such a way that every task is producing meaning and is honored as such.
\nLet’s make sure we are not working just for work’s sake.
\nLet\u2019s work to make a difference!
